【story】
His father killed his mother and younger brother and then committed suicide by force himself--but it turned out to be a staged murder.
The 9-year-old protagonist, Koichi (Tsuyoshi Kusanagi), who has seen the face of the criminal, repeatedly tells the police that the criminal is not his father, that he saw the face of the real criminal, but they do not believe him. On the contrary, he was called a "liar" and even his relatives looked at him strangely...
As his name suggests, Koichi eventually grows into a skilled liar. Koichi travels to Thailand, changes Name, obtains a fake career, and becomes a fraudster. By chance, he reunites with the true culprit in his memory, ``The Man with the Birthmark.'' The emotion of ``anger'' that had been dormant for 30 years comes back to life, and he vows to take revenge and finally returns to Japan. As he investigates the night of the incident, people related to the incident come to light one after another. After 30 years, Koichi learns of this fact and sets a trap for those involved in the case using techniques only possible as a con artist.
