Junsei Motojima first photo book "Jun"

Photographer Masuda Sara captures actor Motoshima Junsei Motojima in his natural state.
From 18 to 19 years old. The season when I started my journey as an actor.
This is his first photo book, capturing moments that will never come back, captured over the course of about a year and a half.

Junsei Motojima a young actor who is currently attracting a lot of attention for playing the main character, Hōtarō Ichinose, in "Kamen Rider Gatchard," has released his first photo book.
The photographer is Sara Masuda, who has been creating works since her teenage years and is now expanding the scope of her activities beyond just being a photographer and filmmaker.
This is a gem of a book that was shot over a period of approximately one and a half years, from February 2023, soon after she joined the agency, through the filming of Kamen Rider, and up until August 2024, just after Kamen Rider wrapped up, capturing the real Motojima with Masuda's unique sensibility.
This book is a collection of over 80 carefully selected shots from the vast amount of footage taken over the course of a year and a half, laid out in the order they were taken, allowing readers to get a real sense of the changes in Motojima's face as they go along.
This is a permanent edition that captures the pure, innocent, and straightforward nature of teenagers. It also includes a long interview in which she talks about her upbringing and current thoughts.

To be honest, a year ago I felt like I was a very weak person and didn't want to admit that I was weak.
However, over the past year, I have experienced many emotions, not only joy, fun, and a sense of accomplishment, but also conflict and regret, and thanks to having Masuda-san filming me over that year, I believe I have become able to reveal my true self, including my weaknesses.
My facial expressions are also completely different. I hope that through this photobook, you can see me as I am and see my growth!

I had the opportunity to photograph Junsei Motojima for a year and a half.
These photos document his big transformation.
I think this big change is possible only because he has faced the present and continued to work hard.
