BABYMETAL's first magazine cover in 3 years & exclusive interview!
"PMC Vol.13" new cover image unveiled!
BABYMETAL will appear in Pia Music Complex (PMC) Vol. 13, which goes on sale on Thursday, April 11th. Their first cover and photo shoot in about three years, along with exclusive interviews with Su-Metal and Moametal, grace the front page. Since the release of their album, Metal Resistance, in April 2016, they have had very little media exposure, and this is their first appearance in PMC in two years and five months, since their email interview in Vol. 7. After 2018, which Su-Metal described as "a year in which I reexamined the situation I find myself in," the two spoke frankly in their 10,000-character interviews about their current feelings and their determination for a new chapter. With the album release in sight, anticipation is building for their Japanese shows at Yokohama Arena on June 28th and 29th and Port Messe Nagoya on July 6th and 7th. We'll also take a look at BABYMETAL's journey through 2018 and a new chapter, including the persuasive, mature expressions they showed in their opening photo spreads and testimonials from overseas staff.
Also featured is THE YELLOW MONKEY, who will be releasing their first original album in 19 years, "9999." In addition to a lengthy interview, the magazine also features a report on the "World's Fastest Pre-listening Event" held at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo on March 28th, as well as the results of a survey conducted with fans. The magazine is packed with the latest information on artists embarking on new chapters, including SCANDAL, who have launched their own private label; a live report from the Tokyo Dome concert of Gen Hoshino five-dome tour; a conversation between Seiho and MIKIKO, who have collaborated on a song; and Chara, who continues to evolve without wavering.
